I grew up on a small dairy farm in Idaho and ended up in human medicine, specifically pharmacy after my brother’s farm accident. Currently I work in a pediatric hospital in the emergency department and operating rooms. Additionally, I also work in disaster medicine and response advocating for pediatric patients in a variety of roles at the state, regional and national levels.

Previously, I have a worked in a variety of area of pharmacy from retail pharmacy, regional hospital, veterinary pharmacy that serviced ranches and dairies, and now I specialize in pediatric emergency medicine. I was also a member of search and rescue in multiple states, and briefly volunteer fire which is what lead me into the disaster response space.

When I am not working, you can find me playing in the snow, fishing, cooking, gardening, traveling, working outside on some project or spending time with Leah and our dog Zen. I love to learn and grow and have a strong desire to surround myself with people that have the same aspirations to live a better life through personal development, helping others and perusing their dreams.
